Hi, I came accross your site while looking through writing blogs. I've just started a very (very) lighthearted fictional blog, and I'm interested in connecting with other writers on the net.
I'd like to find out more your writers group (I've been a member of a real life one for the past five years or so here in Ireland) but can't work out how to sign up for it. (I'm also not very web literate)
Can you email me or post a comment telling me how?
Thanks a lot,
PF

I'm in total agreement with Adam. I can do without social media, marking, et al. It's the stories, the real people, and the substantive dialogue I love.

After writing for twitter, I almost don't know what to do when the restraints are lifted!

This is a really good view of Twitter. I've found the same thing - both that it helps with word choice and that it's most useful when used for personal connection as opposed to pure self-promotion.

This post is wonderful! I completely agree Twitter is great practice in precision. Glad to see @midnightstories being hi-lighted too. :)
