Writing Adventure Group: Results #12 / Instructions #13

May 21, 2009

(My apologies to WAG members for this post being a day late. Life has gotten away from me this week. Well, more like it’s absolutely clobbered me.)

WAG #12 Results and WAG #13 instructions below. All are welcome to join next week’s adventure!

The theme for the Writing Adventure Group #12 was Memory Lane: Describe something by memory. It can be a place, a person, whatever you like. Include as much detail as you can as well as your impressions.

The Writing Adventure Group is on Facebook.  Join us there too, and get weekly reminders so you never miss an adventure.

For those who participated, please cut and paste the links below (and instructions for next week, if you wish) to your own blogs.  This will help promote the group and give some linky love to each other, creating a fantastic cross-promotional network of WAGs!

Next week’s Writing Adventure:

“WAG #13:Dress for Success” Thanks to Peter Spalton for the topic idea! For this week, find yourself a stranger (Yes, we’re all turning into a bunch of WAG stalkers!) Notice what the person is wearing, and then imagine the process they went through getting dressed. Peter suggests: Add lots of detail so we understand what sort of person they are and where they’re going after they’re ready.

Post the results on your blog, and read this post about the group for information on how to notify me so your post will be properly included in next week’s list.  (Note, please include WAG #13 in the subject heading and tell me how you want your name to appear! If you do not, I will use the name as it appears on your email.) Deadline: next Tuesday, May 26th.

  1. Life does that. Best of luck dealing with it. :)

  2. Indeed, good luck! Glad to have you back. :-)

  3. Well, I had the best of intentions last week. Even had my memory spot picked out. A great little deli in town. At least it used to be a great little deli. Who knows what it is now? Probably an insurance agency or something.

At any rate so much time got away from me that not even I could post that late. There are limits of decency after all. I might make the next one. Have a holiday in there – that should help.

Hope your time issues have cleared up. Wouldn’t a time machine be wonderful?
