The theme for the Writing Adventure Group 17 was The One That Got Away” From your own point of view (or the point of view of a stranger you observe) write a short scene about someone from the past who comes into the picture back suddenly.

WAG Summer Holiday:

I’ve noticed we’re getting fewer participants now that the summer is in full swing, and people have been writing to me saying they’re busy and things have been quite crazy around my house as well! Therefore I’m going to take a summer break for WAG.

This isn’t goodbye forever! Just a wee break so everyone can have their BBQs and not worry about missing out. Me? I really should be doing that spring cleaning I’ve promised myself since 2005. (Oh, the romantic life of a writer!)

I’ll make a point to send out a notice to everyone who has participated in the past when we’re ready to launch the next adventure!
