WAG #18 Results and WAG #19 instructions below. All are welcome to join next week’s adventure!
The theme for the Writing Adventure Group 18 was “Invisible Object” Look around your workspace, favourite chair, back yard, etc. and notice the objects around you. Choose one that is so familiar that you no longer notice it, even though it’s right next to you. Describe it as though you’re seeing it for the first time and particularly any feelings you have about it, past or present. Would you miss it if it was gone? No rules! Just write!
The Writing Adventure Group is on Facebook. Join us there too, and get weekly reminders so you never miss an adventure.
For those who participated, please cut and paste the links below (and instructions for next week, if you wish) to your own blogs. This will help promote the group and give some linky love to each other, creating a fantastic cross-promotional network of WAGs!

How to Join the Writing Adventure Group
“WAG #19: Pick a Pocket” Let’s do some stalking people-watching for this one! Pick someone out of a crowd and describe what (you imagine) is in their pockets (Unless you want to be brave and ask them!) Give us both meaning and physical details, and don’t forget to let yourself be surprised. (This week’s topic inspired by my son Bear.)
How to be added to the “results” post next week:
Great exercise!
Just dropped by to check out your blog, India — this is a fascinating layout — I like the way you’ve set up your topics and the ease of accessing past posts. I enjoy the humor and rants more than writing exercises, so I’ll be watching for those.
Just found out from Jon Strother’s blog that this had started again. Will endeavour to take part. I missed the WAG while it was gone.
