Flash Laptop
I had planned to blog yesterday and then today about more flash fiction on Twitter. After the list I made last week on my blog, I’ve found 20 more Twitter micro-fiction authors.
But… yesterday around noon I got a shiny new Dell Studio in the post. You see, I’ve finally acknowledged that my wishful thinking (about my disability disappearing overnight like one of Nanny McPhee’s warts) is getting me nowhere. So, if I wanna push past it, I need to make life (and work) easier for myself. Hence the laptop. Plus, it’s always so freakin cool to have a new gadget.
So, sorry, but the ubercoolocity of having a new toy takes precedence over blogging. Yes, I could blog from my new laptop. (Shh, quit with the logic. I’m not having any of it!)
Anyway, if you still want to keep up with some awesome Twiction authors, you can check out this list and follow these folks. I’m in awe of their ability to keep it coming every day, in bite-sized pieces no less.
I’ll be good next week. Really. I will. I’m sure the shiny will have worn off my new toy by then and I’ll be all self-disciplined and focused. (Shut up, I will.)

Congrats on your new laptop!
Oh, totally understandable. I recently got a new laptop and spent the entire day playing with it.
…funniest simile ever, “like one of Nanny McPhee’s warts”…

Congrats on the shiny new toy! I’ll be laptop shopping next month, and really, you *have* to take some time to play with a new ‘puter. It’s like a law or something. LOL
Enjoy!

I agree with Girl Fren’ – great simile.
I’m always amazed by people who can write flash fiction well. I’m not very good at it – I always feel like mine comes out cliched. I only seem to be able to do the novel thing, which is unfortunate in the days of micro-fiction/blogs/Twitter, etc.
Congrats on laptop!
