Cheery Monday
No writing advice today! It’s Monday, and I’m having trouble getting started with anything productive, so you get funny stuff.
Lately the political scene (particularly, but not exclusively, in the US) has me feeling like most people are crazy, and not in a good way. But there is an antidote: the interwebs. While there are lots of people on the internet who are obviously off their meds, there are also many creative and funny people. Finding a few of those who share their talents with the world, asking nothing in return, gives me a sense of equilibrium. Yes, there are mean nut-jobs, but there are also warm, generous, and talented people.
This is an a capella group from the University of Oregon called On the Rocks doing Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. Very funny stuff. Even if you have never seen Lady Gaga, you’ll easily get the gist of it. Great stuff. (Via Bear)
