These are books that don’t fit into any of the current series, but are things I’ve worked on over the past couple of years. Someday, I’d like to see them fit into the publishing schedule!

Wildings

I haven’t worked out a blurb for this one yet. It’s a sexy sci-fi set on post-invasion earth circa 2540 A.D. The reason I don’t have a blurb yet is that things (characters, technology, setting, even theme!) keep morphing on me every time I open the file, but I will say there are three races: a human slave-race, a warrior lizard race, and a race of telepathic overlords. The title “Wildings” refers to the few humans who brave the Teran wastelands and live outside the overlord-controlled cities.

It’s going well though, and growing every day. Quickly turning into my favourite project ever. Much work to be done though!

Epic Fantasy – Book 1

I’ve been talking about this one on the blog lately, trying to come up with a new title for it, as the old one wasn’t working. It’s actually the first book I ever wrote, and now that I have the experience of dealing with a professional editor and a few more years as a writer under my belt, I’m giving it a revamp. Right now the goal is to trim it from its current 135K words down to a more manageable 110K or so.

Dominion

A new life for an old idea. I wrote the outline for this book several years ago, and even wrote about 5 or 6 chapters of it. At one time I considered making a machinima series and I started writing scripts for it. However, something about it just wasn’t working for me, so it got put aside.

I found my inspiration in Steampunk. I’m rewriting this sci-fi as a spirited Steampunk story where Evangeline Weddleton begins her training with the Benefactors, having been chosen as one of the Few. (More complete blurb to come when things make more sense in my own head!)

I’m still at the very beginning of the new composition, but I have a lot of material to work with from earlier drafts.
